Ir Wong Chu Loong, Managing Director

Experience in the Construction / Engineering Industry, M&E Engineering Consultancy, Infrastructure Work and Project Development since 1996.

Ir Wong CL graduated with a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Honours) from University of Strathclyde, UK. He holds 20 years of engineering experience in a wide variety of projects ranging from design construction and project management of Industries, residential, commercial and schools. Prior to establishing United Premier Consultants Sdn. Bhd, Ir Wong was involved in Low Yat Plaza, Bukit Bintang, Pavillion shopping mall, Bukit Bintang, 500 beds hospitals in Sungai Petani, Seri Alam Township developments in Pasir Gudang, Mutiara Rini Township developments in Skudai, Institut Teknologi Petroleum Petronas, Bangi. 350 beds hospitals in Kluang.

Ir Wong is a registered professional electrical engineer with practicing certificate with Board Engineer of Malaysia (BEM) : Member of IEM:: Member of Institution of Engineering and Technology , UK: Chartered Engineer, UK; Accredited Professional of New Zealand Green Building Council; Malaysia Green Building Facilitator; Member of ACEM, Associate Asean Engineer, Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM); Certified Data Centre Professional.

In IEM, Ir Wong is the Advisor of Building Services Technical Division (BSTD). He was the Chairman of BSTD from 2014 to 2016.

Ir. Wong Koe Hoong, Executive Director

Ir. Wong Koe Hoong has extensive experience in mechanical and electrical engineering design, project management and contract administration of highrise residential and commercial buildings, industrial buildings, hospitals and educational buildings. He was responsible for the successful construction of Trinity Aquata Condominium, Mayland Service Apartment, Putrajaya Hospital, HSBC Data Processing Data Center, Sri KDU Smart School Botanic Clubhouse, Fortitech Factory, Perodua Kawamura Manufacturing & PDI Plant, Behn Meyer Warehouse and FItters Gebeng Factory.

Ir. Lai Chee Kuan, Executive Director

Ir. Lai Chee Kuan is graduated from Glasgow University, United Kingdom and has vast experience (over 20 years) pertaining to the design of mechanical engineering systems. He has led a design team to involve in various mega projects and is a registered Professional Engineer. The projects that he was involved in are KL Convention Centre, KLCC Tunnel Link, Nutrient Plant for Fortitech, 500 Units Apartments at Sri Muda for Suditasia, 13 Screens Cinemas at KL Pavillion, Cutting and Assembly Workshop for MMHE at Pasir Gudang, Process Plant for Cargill at PKFZ, Grade A Office Tower for Menara Shell at KK, Sabah. He is also a GreenRE Manager.

Ir. Cheong Jong Peow, Director

Ir. Cheong Jong Peow is graduated from Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Western Australia. He has working experience of more than 15 years in relation to mechanical engineering systems. He is a registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia. He was involved in projects such as Jelutong Sewage Treatment Plant, (1,200,000 PE), P. Pinang, Bandar Sg. Long township development, Bertam DAF 2 Water Treatment Plant, Melaka, Custom, Immigration & Quarantine Complex, Johor Bahru.

Ir. Yow Kai Yong, Director

Ir. Yow Kai Yong graduated in 1992 from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree. Starting work in 1993, he has been in the consultancy line since. He has been involved in projects such as The Ascott Kuala Lumpur, G Residence, Renaissance Putrajaya, master planning of PKFZ and numerous other projects. Besides being a professional engineer since 1998, he is also a certified GBI facilitator.
